Residual Voltage Transformers

Residual Voltage Transformers (RVTs) are manufactured for the range 11 kV through 33 kV voltage class. RVTs can be used for capacitor bank protection by detecting the neutral to ground fault conditions on star-type connections. The insulation consists of oil-paper combination with the oil impregnation done under a high degree of vacuum. Conformance can be made in accordance to IS or IEC standard.

High Voltage Neutral Current Transformers

Neutral Current Transformers (NCTs) are manufactured for the range 220 kV through 11 kV voltage class. NCTs can be used for capacitor bank protection by measuring the differential current flow in H-type connections. The NCTs are of wound and outdoor type with dead tank design. The insulation is finely graded and consists of oil-paper combination. The oil impregnation is done under a high degree of vacuum with excellent monitoring and control of dissipation loss factor (tan delta). All NCTs are hermetically sealed, with either stainless steel bellows or nitrogen cushion. Conformance can be made in accordance to IS, IEC, BS and ANSI standards. Technical details are same as that for high voltage current transformers.

Precision Voltage Transformers For Laboratories

We offer ultra precision (< 0.1% metering accuracy as per IEC) voltage transformer for using as standard for accuracy measurements in laboratories. Precision voltage transformers are made with extremely low excitation current requirement with accurate step down for the entire voltage range of 11 kV through 245 kV.

High Voltage AC Testing Transformers For Laboratories

High voltage transformers for power frequency tests on insulation are available for up to 300 kV, 300 kVA. The design consists of two stage cascade transformers of 150 kV each housed in a single FRP cylindrical shell.
